Kris, Adam, and Allison Sign Record Deals, But What About Danny?

American Idol winner Kris Allen, runner-up Adam Lambert and fourth place finisher Allison Iraheta have all signed record deals, but one person seems to have been missed out on in the top 4. Danny Gokey has not even got a record deal yet, and he was actually on of this year's strongest contestants.

All of the judges thought that the finale would originally be between Danny and Adam. Kris, the dark horse, came from behind and won the whole show and Danny came in third place. But hey, all you Danny fans out there, do not worry. Danny is still working on getting signed to a label and he plans to do it before the tour.

Danny Gokey gave E! News some exclusive details about his record plans.

Danny Gokey: "I'm sitting down with record labels next week. I hope to sort it out before tour. But I don't want to wait too long, the quicker the better." In the meantime, he continues to grow his Sophia's Heart Foundation, which he created in honor of his late wife. "We're planning a food and clothing drive in Milwaukee. And we're looking for a facility there or here in L.A. for the foundation's events. We might have the L.A. facility running first before Milwaukee. It's a turnkey operation, so I can start running programs right away."

If you can remember back to the beginning of the season, it is strange to think that all three Idol finalists who just signed record deals all performed in the same group during the group auditions in the Top 36. Kris, Allison and Adam all made it to the top 12 the day after they performed.

I did not like Adam at first...still not a fan, but he was the most talented of them all. Kris is great but Danny is an amazing singer. I certainly hope he gets a contract...he obviously has a very large following. More than Allison, so why he doesn't already have a contract is beyond me...so he can't dance. You can get someone to work with him on his "moves," but the boy can sing & he deserves a contract as far as he got on the show, certainly deserves it as much or more than Allison! Do the right thing guys...give him his record deal. I will buy his stuff - just tell him to keep religion out of it, please.

Danny defintely deserves not only a contract, but a good one! Genre appears to be one reason he is waiting to sign. If his performances on Idol did not convince the record labels, his singing of the National Anthem at the Brewers game on Gokey Day in Milwaukee should have. He did an amazing job on a song that is known for being hard to sing.

The National Anthem is NOT known as being hard to sing, dipshit.
